Krzysztof Stróżyna is one of Poland’s most eminent designers present on the British fashion scene, attracting praise and no little attention from across the industry.

"So many Poles have settled in London since the former Eastern bloc country joined the EEC that it was only a matter of time (three years, actually) before one of them turned out to be a fashion designer. The first to emerge is 25-year-old Krystof Strozyna”

— Sarah Mower, vogue.com, 12 July 2008

Stróżyna graduated from London’s Central Saint Martin’s in 2007. He is founder and CEO of the Krystof (from 2007 to 2014) and Kreist (since 2015) fashion labels. A winner of the prestigious Harrods Design Award, Stróżyna has received funding on three occasions from the British Fashion Council as part of the New Generation emerging talent scheme. His designs are worn by a number of A-list celebrities, including Natalia Vodianova, Cara Delevingne, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Known professionally as Krystof Strozyna, he has regularly showcased his collections at London Fashion Week in recent years, to critical acclaim:
“Strozyna has shown for the second season and has already made a name for himself with his graphic silhouettes and chunky, lacquered jewellery. Teaming silk organzas and knits with wooden necklaces and long linen frills, the clothes were folksy and sophisticated with inspirations ranging from Joseph Turner’s paintings to Art Nouveau to Polish folk art.”

“Strozyna’s supremely sophisticated show struck a perfect balance between wearability and experimentation—his carefully worn and studded pale wash denim jackets and exquisite silk mini-dresses woven together with geometric threads sent a front row Alexa Chung into a frenzy of note-pad scribbling.”

— Elle UK, 2009

The first collection under Stróżyna’s newest label, Kreist (main picture), takes inspiration from the work of artists Piet Mondrian and Jeff Koons. Located in the wealthy city of Poznań, the kreist line of clothing and accessories are ethically produced in Poland by local sewing firms, jewellers, leatherworkers and milliners, using materials sourced from the EU.
